Working with Jeff and The Plumbing Department reminded me that these qualities still exist. They are great.  Very good follow-up from getting a quote to the work.  Very neat, on time, and work is solid.   So many others out there, it's nice to have someone who is honest and dependable.   Would HIGHLY recommend.    If and when we need additional plumbing services we are calling Jeff.

Jeff is a perfectionist and took the time he needed to determine whether we needed the jetting service needed to be performed. I was able to see the video of our sewer line and have copies that we were able to conveniently saved to a flash drive.

They did a great job with a simple water heater repair, but the big points are for timely response. They were at our house within an hour of calling them, and the problem was fixed that day.

Responsive and conscientious!! I called Jeff after a copper pipe in my two flat building had been punctured by a screw. I needed it fixed immediately and had called several other places before calling The Plumbing Department. Jeff showed up when he said he would and did a fantastic job fixing the problem. The water was back on in my building in no time! This was by far and away the best service I have ever received from a trade company in Chicago. If your looking for professionalism and a job well done...when you need it done... Call them.

We used Jeff and his team to replace our water heater recently.  We are very pleased with their work and have even had other repair men comment on what a nice job they did!  This an an honest company that has the customers best interest in mind. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing work done.

The Plumbing Department does an amazing job. Jeff has done work for me twice and has been affordable and prompt both times, coming out the next day. He even helped troubleshoot before charging me anything. Would recommend 10/10 times.

Extremely prompt, professional, and friendly. Diagnosed the problem immediately, had the right part in his truck, and made the repair efficiently and neatly. (Even polished the water faucets)!

Valve installation that became complicated because main valve was ancient. The plumber called the city and stayed with us until city workers arrived. I can't say enough good things about this company and would recommend it enthusiastically

The Plumbing Dept deserves more than 5 stars! I had an issue with my hot water tank. I spoke with Jeff and was able to set up an appointment the next day. He was polite, professional, and honest. Price was very reasonable. Jeff even gave tips on how to maintain the hot water tank to keep it running smoothly and prevent similar issues from happening again.

I can't say enough about the awesome service I received from Jeff. He happened to be at my neighbors house, and I desperately needed a plumber. I called the number on his truck parked on the street, and he made time to stop by my house. He fixed my problem confidently. He was polite, and professional. I would highly recommend he and his crew.

Jeff and his helper were FABULOUS. They were punctual, professional and reasonably priced. They cleaned up behind themselves. Did NOT leave a mess as other workmen have done in my home. I would DEFINITELY hire him again and would recommend him to others.

We have an old house with complicated plumbing and have now worked with Jeff and his crew several times since our initial emergency water heater replacement. Antique sink clogs, shower clogs, ancient toilet fixes, sewer video, sewer jetting, catch basin inspections - you name it, this guy is amazing. Always friendly, helpful, tidy and efficient, my husband and I cannot recommend them enough.

The Plumbing Department Inc was great. Our water heater died and they came out the same day to diagnose & quote. The next day the same person set up the new water heater. They always gave timeframes that were acceptable, and were able to show up earlier than expected. The plumber was professional and got the job done perfectly. I highly recommend them.
